So Guys here is my personal favourite, its about downloading Videos from Putlocker which is my 2nd most favourite. First being Megavideo which by now RIP! The The technique is really easy and does not need any software or Premium Account.
Step 2: Open the source code of the page, in Chrome right click and click on the "View Page Source".
Step 3: Search for "get_file" and you will find something like "get_file.php?stream=MzFFNzAyNkM4N0E0M0I0RCtmOTliZjBkYjRlNTIzMWU3 "
Step 4: Now paste this code in frony of Putlocker like "http://www.putlocker.com/get_file.php?stream=MzFFNzAyNkM4N0E0M0I0RCtmOTliZjBkYjRlNTIzMWU3" and hit enter.
Step 5: You will be take to a source code page where you will have to copy the link like following and paste it in IDM for download or download directly.
Link will be like this:

Another method is to copy and paste the putlocker video url to Allavsoft and click Download button.

ReplyDeleteI have a problem playing the resulting files though. I've tried in VLC, KMPlayer, MPlayer and I only get the audio when the files open at all. I have FFDshow but no help.

DeleteThis is an awesome trick, and it used to work like a charm, but now, for some reason in the last stage instead of beginning to download the VCL logo comes up in the window and the video just begins to play in the new tab :/ ... help??

ReplyDeleteHi, I got up to the "get_file" step just fine, but when i add the get file code to the end of putlocker and hit enter, I get a message from google chrome asking me how I want to view the page. I get options like google reader and if I don't choose any I can't view the page, thus no download link. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI heard that someone needs help with the playing of the file. I personally use VLC Media Player from Video Lan It's a great player and you can play virtually any video file (.flv mp4 mpeg mkv avi etc) It even records off dvds!
ReplyDeleteAlso you can alternatively download off putlocker in Chrome using the app FVD Video Player from the chrome web store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fvd-video-downloader/lfmhcpmkbdkbgbmkjoiopeeegenkdikp) When you are on the putlocker page then click the arrow next to the address bar (if there is no media it will be gray with a cross but when it is active it will be blue) Click it and there should be two items, click the one that is the size of your video file and click download!
